The Kuhn HR 6042 R is a heavy-duty 6m folding power harrow designed for high-output seedbed preparation on larger arable farms and for contractors looking to cover significant areas efficiently.

Its heavy-duty rotor system provides intensive soil crumbling and levelling, breaking down clods and creating a fine, consistent seedbed ahead of drilling. The machine is designed to operate effectively in a wide range of conditions, from working down ploughed ground to producing a final seedbed following previous cultivations.

Hydraulic working depth and levelling-bar adjustment allow the operator to alter the machine directly from the tractor cab as soil conditions change. The HR 6042 R is formed from two half-harrows which can work in a floating position, allowing each side to move independently and follow ground contours more accurately.

A reinforced central gearbox with oil cooling and protected driveline allows the machine to handle high tractor powers and intensive workloads. DURAKUHN carbide-coated blades are fitted as standard to provide increased resistance to wear during demanding cultivation work.

The Kuhn HR 6042 R is particularly well suited to seedbed preparation, working down ploughed land, secondary cultivation, levelling cultivated ground and preparing land immediately ahead of drilling.
