The Kivi-Pekka 4m Stone Picker provides an efficient mechanical solution for removing stones from agricultural land, helping reduce manual stone picking while protecting cultivation, drilling, mowing and harvesting equipment from potential damage.

Two side rakes gather stones across the machine’s 4m working width and feed them towards the central lifting drum. Stones are lifted into the hopper while loose soil is sieved out and returned to the field, helping minimise the amount of valuable topsoil removed during the stone-picking process.

The machine can collect stones from approximately 25mm up to 350mm in diameter, with a maximum rated output of 700kg per minute. Its 3m³ hopper provides useful capacity for continuous operation, while the 2.9m tipping height allows collected material to be discharged into suitable trailers and dump trucks.

Hydraulic working-depth adjustment allows the machine to be set according to field conditions, while its relatively low 70hp power requirement means it can be operated without tying up a high-horsepower tractor. Operating speeds range from 1–6km/h, depending on stone density and ground conditions.

The Kivi-Pekka 4 is particularly well suited to arable fields, grassland reseeding, land reclamation, construction and remediation sites, sports ground preparation and restoring land following earthworks. Stone removal can also reduce wear and the risk of damage to subsequent machinery.
